WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL ENTAIL
- Cordially welcoming and greeting every guest and customer
- Keeping the store clean, inviting, and comfortable for all visitors
- Providing assistance to customers by educating them on various promotions, products, and their uses
- Making sure that every customer is aware of our promotions to ensure they receive the best deal for their purchase
- Attentively listening to customers and suggesting the appropriate products that meet their needs
- Ensuring the storefront is well-stocked and products are correctly displayed
- Efficiently operating the POS system, ATM terminals, and cash drawer to complete transactions and maintain accurate records
- Fulfilling orders for cannabis products
- Implementing proper opening and closing procedures to maintain the store for optimal operation
- Adhering to Herbiculture’s policies, standards, and governing laws
- Any additional duties specific to the assigned client may be assigned to the Customer Care Specialist.
SKILLS NEEDED
- Proficient in delivering and sustaining exceptional customer service in a fast-paced and hectic setting
- Outstanding oral communication, interpersonal, and attentive listening abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving, negotiating, mediating, and resolving conflicts
- Capable of handling multiple tasks for extended durations
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic mathematical and computer skills
- Skilled in working with precision, speed, and efficacy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must meet the age requirement of 19 years as stated in the Cannabis Act and Regulations of Ontario
- Should have at least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service
- Must pass the required CannSell training course as mandated by AGCO
- Proficient in using computers and other types of technology
Preferred
- A high school diploma or an equivalent is required, although having a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
