The position is a remote one and the direct supervisor is the Customer Support Team Lead. The starting date is Monday, April 15, 2024. The schedule for shifts is determined by the timing and method of communication from our customers seeking assistance.
The Opportunity to:
- Effectively interact with our clients via live chat and email with a considerate, empathetic, and productive approach.
- Resolve both simple and intricate customer problems.
- Stay informed about the latest enhancements and updates to our products.
- Work together with team members to enhance our collaboration and support for both our colleagues and customers.
- Meet designated goals for speed and excellence in live chat and email customer interactions.
- Recognize system malfunctions and inform our Product Operations team.
- Identify any unusual customer experiences and bring any issues to the appropriate level for resolution.

We are seeking for the following individuals:
- The applicant must be available to work a consistent 40-hour weekly schedule, including weekends and holidays in order to provide prompt customer service.
- To qualify for this position, candidates must reside in one of the following states: Colorado, Oregon, or Washington.
- Strong writing abilities, particularly in terms of grammar and spelling, are required for this role.
- Excellent reading comprehension is necessary to accurately identify the root cause of customer issues.
- The candidate should feel comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- The ability to adapt to changing situations and navigate ambiguity is crucial for success in this role.
- Previous experience in customer support is a plus.
- A designated, quiet workspace with a door, ergonomic chair, and desk is necessary for the job.
- A reliable and uninterrupted internet connection is also required.

Salary Range:
$48,000 to $56,000 in United States Dollars (USD)
The pay per hour for this role will fluctuate depending on job-specific factors such as applicable abilities, credentials, background, and geographic location, among other considerations.
Apart from the mentioned cash compensation, which comprises of base salary and, for eligible positions, may also include commissions or overtime pay, all employees at Squarespace have the opportunity to receive company equity as a part of their overall compensation package.
