Compensation:

Experienced drivers can earn a starting pay of $34.08 per hour for a home daily schedule. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health benefits (medical, dental, and vision), pension, life insurance, disability and more.

Responsibilities:

On a typical day, your tasks will include:

  • Safely operating a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples
  • Providing excellent service to customers by generating sales leads
  • Loadingand unloading freight, and performing vehicle inspections as required by law.

You will also need to lift and move objects of various weights, safely climb in and out of a tractor cab/trailer, sit for extended periods, walk and stand on various surfaces, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.

You should also be able to operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous materials.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Hold a current Class 1 or Class A CDL with proper airbrake/manual transmission endorsements as per the regulations of each province
  • Have a safe driving record, and possess a valid FAST card or have the ability to obtain one within 30 days of your start date.
  • It will be advantageous if you have forklift experience, hazardous materials certificate(s), and proper airbrake/manual transmission endorsement(s) for other provinces.
