Job Responsibilities:
What will you do?
- Start your day at the depot, sorting and preparing deliveries
- Load and drive a Canada Post vehicle
- Spend most of your day outside, delivering mail and packages to customers on your route by foot or vehicle
- Return to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages for later delivery
Qualifications to Work at Canada Post:
What do you need?
- Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with at least 3 years of safe driving experience (driver’s abstract required)
- Physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lbs) regularly throughout the day
- Ability to work in all types of weather
- Availability for on-call shifts
- Proficiency in English and/or French (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Experience in customer service, making deliveries, or working as a driver is an asset.

As a Letter Carrier, your primary role is to sort and deliver mail along a designated route.
