Prerequisites:
- Proficient in using smartphones to clock in and out during shifts and take visit notes.
- Must pass a background check.
- Demonstrated consistent job performance and attendance that our clients can depend on.
- Dependable mode of transportation.
- Exhibits professional behavior and respectful demeanor.
- Capable of performing basic household chores and meal preparation.
- Possession of a home support worker certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Open availability for shifts.
- Previous experience in caregiving or providing care for older adults.
- Minimum of 2 personal references.
- We do not hire individuals from outside the country.
Tasks performed by caregivers
- Planning and preparing meals.
- Household cleaning and laundry tasks.
- Assisting with personal hygiene.
- Administering medication according to routine.
- Providing care for individuals with dementia.
- Spending quality time and providing companionship.
- Shifts are available in the morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight.
- Utilizing a ceiling or hoyer lift for transferring between bed and commode, etc.
Schedule
- The evening shift is from 6 to 9pm.
- The day shift is from 1 to 3pm.
- The morning shift is from 9 to 11am.
- Additional shifts may be required on weekends.
